Agriculture Scholarship 02/04/10

Going to College? Majoring in Agriculture?

The McPherson Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee is a community partner of Agriculture Future of America. This partnership enables the Agriculture Committee to provide a $3,200 Agriculture Future of America Scholarship to any McPherson County graduating senior pursuing a 4-year degree in agriculture. In addition to the scholarship, the registration fees for the AFA Leaders Conference are included. The AFA provides agriculture collegians with personal and professional training and networking to agriculture internships.

Requirements include:
„X Interest in the future of agriculture
„X 3.0 GPA
„X Pursuing a 4-year degree in a agriculture related field
„X Complete application & turn in to McPherson Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 616, McPherson, Ks 67460 by March 15 and interview process.
„X Attend AFA Leaders Conference in the fall of freshman year
